Urban(e) Landscapes
I struggle with urban landscapes, on two fronts. One is that there are inevitably people there, which I can easily find too overwhelming. The second is that I become confused by the volume of buildings and shapes and cannot work out how to compose the shot.
All of these are from Kyoto, Japan, as it has a kind of clean urban layout that made it a bit easier for me to find a quiet spot to set the camera up in.
Approach and Settings
50 mm f/1.4 lens
Aperture Priority at f/22 or f/3.5 depending on light conditions
For the night shots, I used my tripod on f/22, resulting in a shutter speed of 60 seconds.
