Tiny Things Part II

Bee, Amersham UK
Bee, Minnesota
Bee, daisies, Minnesota
Bee, Minnesota

Inevitably, taking pictures of flowers means being photo-bombed by insects, mostly bees. Sometimes I am so focused on the flower that I miss the guest appearance until I am looking at the images in Lightroom later. The bee making a beeline (sorry, not sorry), to the purple daisies and the bee making a sunset visit to the lavender, are two instances of this.

Settings and Approach

50 mm lens (f/1.4)

Aperture Priority, set to f/1.4, exposure compensation -1 stop

Challenges: Finding the right flower / spot to focus on, getting the light direction right. Finding the right angle for the light and the photo-bomber.
